Open an XM Production Account

In order to trade Forex, you must create an account with the brokerage firm where you will be trading.
In this article, we will show you how to create a real account for trading with XM.

Open a real account

• Open the Real Account Registration page.
• Agree to the cookie default settings and click the "Continue" button.
• Enter your personal information (name, country of residence, language, phone number, and e-mail address).
• Enter trading account details.

• Enter personal information (name in kana, date of birth).
• Enter address information and trading account details.
  
  leverage
  You can set the leverage to your preference, but we recommend 1:888 for the highest leverage.
• Check the checkboxes on the confirmation.
• Click on the "Open Real Account" button.
• An email will then be sent to your registered email address.
• Open the email you received and click on the link (the "here" link in the email below).
• Your real account has been opened. (An email will be sent to your registered email address.)

Account Activation

• Open the email you received and click on the link (the "click here" link in the email below).
• Enter your ID and password to log in.
• Click on "Activate Account Now."
• Enter additional information.
  Even if you do not have your own number, there is no problem with "No" since there are no particular restrictions on use at this time.
• Select identification and address verification documents, and click "Upload Documents.
• An email will be sent to your registered email address.
• Your account will be activated after review within 24 hours.
  *In this case, the account was activated in about 16 hours.
  Do I need to submit my number?
  While domestic FX firms are required to submit their personal numbers, XM is an international FX firm and is not required to do so.

  However, the email text of the account activation states that we may request additional documents in the future, so this may become necessary in the future.
